I agree with you in principal, Crown Land should be available to everyone. BUT if access to said crown land can only be made by walking through a farmers freehold land, well that is NOT ON!!! Governments are very quick to make decisions without thinking about the costs involved to avoid conflict. If the Government wants to make this land available they need to PAY for the fencing off of the land AND provide access roads , public toilets and service the camping areas. Why do you expect the farmer to cover the costs of this?
