.. Not unusual for mas as I normally drive 5km below the speed limit, so I am used to seeing foreheads with veins bulging in the mirror and incomprehensible abuse as they fly by on the double white line into oncoming traffic (or down the emergency lane).

Now I dont know about other people but if someone hoots at me when I am driving sedately and safely that does NOT make me speed up. All it does is make me marvel at all the ******* there are in the world.

Today I was in the slow lane that was feeding into the fast lane 200m ahead and was apparently holding up a guy who thought he could duck around the inside of a long line of traffic in the fast lane.

If someone is hooting at me in traffic, I know 50:50 before I even look in the mirror that it's likely to be a Holden commodore driver (ute or sedan).

NOT to tarnish all Commodore drivers as I know one that is a decent chap, but that specific vehicle also seems to draw a club of very aggressive 30+ year old male drivers. Guess we can call them the Bathurst boofheads.

One of the great benefits of having Holden manufacturing vehicles in Australia was that it was fairly easy to identify the *potential* aggressive drivers likely to make a sudden unexpected movement in traffic and to simply give them a wide berth.

Now I am deeply concerned that when Holden ceases production in Australia it will be harder to identify these loose cannons in traffic.

I know there is a split between Holden and Ford so it is unlikely that the Holden crowd will switch to Fords...

    so my question is....

What are the Commodore drivers going to migrate to in droves?
