I think their strategy has involved taking on more risk from more asset purchase in order to protect their divies, in an enviroment that is either slowing or heading into recession.
I don't think low 3s would be an unreasonable price to ask for considering AFGs profile is not to flash and therefore may take more time to rebound in this fickle market. I think their strategy of making no extra announcements is bad for investors.
