"Shutting eyes to reality does not make the nasty, real world go away." with this statement aren't you making a presupposition that what you are suggesting is the reality?
In the latest broker report GMP are forecasting production figures of 6 kt in 2016, 67 kt in 2017 and 164kt in 2018. AMG have to fit into this puzzle somewhere. They have a small plant at Anacuabe, currently on care and maintenance, I believe capable of producing something less than 10 kt a year. If that were to be brought on-line it would address the part of the agreement that says: "100,000 tonnes of graphite concentrate per year, annualised over term, scaling up from initial production " Scaling up from initial production suggests to me starting off small and getting bigger is a more plausible explanation than your idea of in 20 years time Triton saying, here's 2 million tonnes of graphite, now where do you want me to dump it?
The agreement also states under condition precedents that within 36 months of signing Agreement the following conditions apply:
Triton providing YXGC notice of its intention to commence deliveries of Material
Perhaps I'm wrong but I read that as 'if you don't commence supply within 36 months the deal is off.'
One thing that intrigues me about all the posts that have been written over the last few days is that not one of them has questioned why YXGC want that much graphite, specifically expandable graphite (and no I don't think we'll find the answer on the internet). I don't know much about the upcoming insulation issue in China but I believe it could call for all homes to be insulated with insulation containing 10% expandable graphite. The government to make a decision to mandate or not in July. Knowing a little how business is conducted in China, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that cousin Wang at the factory has cousin Bing in the ministry who might have heard in the corridor that the government are going to mandate for insulation in July. Now that is going to take a lot of graphite and it just happens to be a product YXGC specialise in. While everyone has been looking for demand to increase from battery storage and steel making etc. perhaps a whole new market is about to emerge, one that YXGC know about and are positioning themselves for.
