Boy - I just love these amateur homebrew witchdoctors and their cures.! Don't suppose you thought that it may be somewhat irresponsible to post stuff like that, with amateur medical advice, onto a public forum?

Have you seen the "patient"? Have you made your own diagnosis? Have you verified HIS diagnosis? Have you researched the possible causes of his gout if that is what he has?

There are multiple causes, and perhaps treating the cause could be worth consideration......

Er - hello? Have you considered your legal position if he were to take your advice and take 1000mg of Naprosyn daily for "a few days"? And if he gets a bad reaction to it, whether it be a "hole in the gut" (by which presumably you mean gastric ulceration) or an allergic reaction? What then - does he sue you? Or HotCopper for publishing your "advice"?

And here was I thinking that HotCopper was a forum for share trading and investment....
