I do Seer, Abbott is a big gvernment conservative. Look at his biggest policy idea that he's had, maternity leave. It is a massive $6 Billion a year middle class welfare scheme. And why? Because it fits with his 1950s conservative ideas about nuclear families and stay at home mothers. He is about to go on a infrastructure spending spree funded by debt, all this after bleating about a budget emergency. The only reason they managed to get elected is because they got their candidates to shut up for the election campaign. Look at their ideas of diplomacy with the Indonesians, do you think poking them in the eye with a stick is going to help the situation? It's all well and good to criticise from opposition but the Libs have found out it isn't so easy in practise.
