I would love to think that Aus could declare us a 'neutral' country.... but when Sweden and Finland turn to NATO I have to consider that other countries won't necessarily declare support for Aus neutrality.

if ever we Aussies thought the tyranny of distance would protect us we must recognise that water is a route of choice with more underwater machines available than the entire world possessed 25 yrs ago. robotics, AI, drones are the new weapons and if we are to protect our shores and air we will need a lot of them.
