As a matter of fact we did once put a full column page 3 advert in the Gatton Star newspaper, Qld, calling for a Sunday fast and prayer ...when there had been quite a devastating spell of drought in the Lockyer Valley.

Naturally, i suspect it was not a popular call with the locals ...but a few did fast and pray, with my wife and i.

I was an active Councillor in the Gatton Shire Council at the time.

Result: ...we had a very satisfying 50mm of good soaking rain and nice follow up rains...

...and quite a number of farmers were very thankful.
