I agree with you question to start them thinking and asking the same question of government.
Though it's one that needs to get out to all the soldiers and their families. In order for the small whisper of such a question to be magnified by the thousands of Australians nationally to become a roaring demand for such equipment as to the inferior equipment that our soldiers use today.
I believe it needs to be done in this manner, as if it were to only be asked of the PM and Tony Abbott it would be quickly brushed off with a statement of " we don't believe such equipment is certified to be available for our troops."
If such a question built up momentum, the govt might be incline to assist in certification of such equipment. This is MST's biggest hurdle as posted by others.
