Just wondering if there are any farmers on here that have actually received any drought relief from the government ? Just had a look at the Website and application information , as usual, huge amount of red tape. They seem to think that cattle do not eat anything or that farmers in drought can afford to buy feed. They offer subsidies for water transport, cattle transport, feed transport but no funds to buy feed and water! Scomo keeps puffing his chest and telling us how much the government has set aside for Drought Relief but who is getting it? I would love to know how much is really getting to our farmers.
