What if you were a big fish investor? If a NAIF style package were contributed would that not tickle your fancy in that there's government backing? If a particular company were to miss out, to me that's more of a red flag not to put my money in. It's essentially a no-confidence vote. Although... pre-empting your rebuttal, yes Twiggy had to seek foreign investment as he initially he couldn't get a dime here.

I know you've got AUZ in mind and I don't blame you. I hold there at a massive loss, really was surprised at how SKI pulled out. Anywho, I shouldn't digress on this thread.
