One do not need to hold the stock to be informed of what is going on in the market. You reason you read hot copper is to find out what is going on i.e the unknowns. Just use the information to help with your investment decision no need to get personal.
I do not know a lot but find there are a lot of knowledge in HC to assist me in trying to make some money.
