I fail to see why there's any discussion - there's a very very large elephant in a very very small room looking everyone in the face -

the cost of housing

it's been a huge issue for a long long long long long time

and it's not the fault of the current government - it's the fault of multiple governments ----------- both federal, state and local

and an apathetic and spectacularly visionless population and leadership
