    It's going to be one of the many changes to how we operate in the future.

    Casualisation won't go away imo. However, changes to the model will occur. Some form of insurance or protection will be the solution I guess ?

    Managing casuals during Covid to prevent infection spread is one thing. It appears there are strategies developing. Payment for people awaiting test results for example.
    The bigger issue is casuals not going for testing and trying to cover up symptoms. While I don't condone that, I can understand how people who are the working poor rationalise this differently to me.

    But, finding ways to protect casuals for any circumstance in the future is the bigger question.

    Going back to full employment isn't going to work I don't think. It is simply too expensive in Australia.

    So, that means a giant income protection fund for casuals. That's going to be a nightmare to manage.eek.png
