    I reckon they do realise it. What they do about it is another thing though...

    Early on in the Covid crisis there was quite a bit made of the new relationship ( professional ) between Sally McManus from the ACTU and Christian Porter. There were all sorts of meetings etc and it is my understanding this is where the idea of the ' job keeper ' payment came from.

    There were lots of discussions and I recall Scott from marketing talking about industrial relations changes etc.

    I haven't seen those two in the news for quite a while however I expect there has been plenty going on behind the scenes. No doubt McManus would be pushing pretty hard for some kind of future protection ( pretty sure she's against casualisation ) and I'm sure the government will be taking the opportunity to look at ways ( never waste a crisis wink.png ) of removing protection for employees.

    I would say watch this space. Just because we haven't heard anything doesn't mean there isn't something coming.
