    Given that currently a sniffle or a minor cough are considered symtoms any wonder why! We want people to be responsible and get tested to reduce the spread of covid-19 BUT you should only have to quarantine if you meet allot more of the symptoms. If everytime you have a cough or a sniffle you get tested you have to quarantine until you get the results - meaning you can't work, pick up kids etc etc and in all likelihood in 99+% of those cases with just those symptoms you will test negative. Far better to get more people tested take a slightly higher risk and let them carry on with normal life if they don't meet a stricter set of symptoms which were being applied earlier in this crisis.

    As for casuals - as sucky as it is for them now they have already been paid their leave entitlements (including sick leave) in the rate of pay they currently get. I am sure most casuals will hate their pay being reduced to be given leave entitlements.
