I understand a governmental report on third party access to BHP/RIO's railway will be released today for public comment.
I hear it will be in favour of the small iron ore producers - this means FRS!
The smaller operators will have to pay for any infrastructure extensions, additional rail cars, etc. Also they will be charged a haulage fee that will be monitored that by the government to ensure fairness.
So hopefully this will be resolved by the end of the year.
