Government representative in town

Hi everyone

The Africa Down Under conference is taking place today through to the end of the week and while the company has no formal speaking spot (no surprise really - most of the wheeling and dealing happens off the main stage) I notice Dr Mu'azu, the Permanent Secretary of the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, is in town and presenting.

Now we know Kogi is the only Australian company building a steel operation in Nigeria so his presentation on Friday morning will no doubt touch on our project and the advancements made and the working relationship between the government and our company.

The conference is in Perth so it would be safe to assume that KFE management will be meeting the Dr when he is here.

Who knows whether an announcement will come from this but with the Doctor in town I'm sure there will be a lot of discussion, as there is a lot to discuss!

Dr Abdulkadir Mu'azu

Permanent Secretary

Dr. Abdulkadir Mu’azu is from Mayere Village, Kaduna Sate, Nigeria. He studied Medicine at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and also trained as a Specialist Sports Medicine Physician at the Prestigious Australian Institute of Sports and University of Canberra between 1994 and 1995.
He contributed to Policy Development that promote physical activity amongst citizens for the promotion of health and prevention of non-communicable diseases, National Anti-Doping Policy, Promotion of National Safe Sports Participation, He worked with UNESCO on the use sport to promote Sustainable Development and Peace within the frameworks of the 2030 Development Agenda.
