aff67611, placing a provision in their proposal would not help at all. There is no way the govt would provide confirmation that they would not be split up. So, with such a provision, they set about building the NBN, the govt legislates to split them up, what then, they are seriously impacted and likely out of pocket. I sold a technology company that I had for 25 years a couple of years ago, and believe me there is no way I would enter into such an arrangement with that level of uncertainly there.
