My boys tried it and enjoyed the experience but why pick fruit for $25 an hour when they can live at home and get that as trades assistants, Uber drivers, deliveroo etc They are living the dream doing so many casual jobs meeting people, different experiences. I keep reinforcing the message is don't worry about the pay, just enjoy the journey! Work hard and party hard, because you are fit, healthy Australians living the best years of your life, and stay of the drugs! They refuse to receive the dole because when is the last time you entered a center link office. It can be quite confronting! Biggest issue for them is government red tape for employment so they have ABN's and giving Australian kids a chance! Get rid of them after one week if you don't like them but just them a chance!
