That's an interesting response Eagle and makes good sense too.
My take though is the public realise that although the freebies were great fun the damage caused to the countries financials does not justify continuing down the same path.
If the Gov bank was full of billions though I'm sure people would be wanting more cash splurges. People are starting to realise the nonsense in giving away borrowed money IMO.
