People seem to think that all that's required is hard work and accuse others of not working hard enough to get ahead. "Hard work" is a subjective term it seems. Does a laborer laying bricks for 12 hours a day 5 days a week not quantify as "hard work"? Or isn't a woman working in a super market 5 days a week whilst also trying to raise a family "hard work"?
No. Apparently "hard work" is quantified by the amount of wealth an individual accumulated. So an individual with lots of wealth has automatically worked harder than anyone else with less wealth. Doesn't matter how little "hard work" was actually done to acquire it.
It's a known fact that the government has long favored wealthier & older Australians with numerous tax concessions & schemes.

The cost of living is so f***k high these days that for allot of people getting ahead is virtually impossible. We can't all be doctors, bankers & white collar professionals. Who would serve you at your favorite restaurant, maintain the gardens in your local park that your family enjoys or collect your kerb side bins? Wealth inequality is well & truly alive in Australia. I'm fortunate enough to be not living paycheck to paycheck but i can understand why others are doing it tough.
