Well Betalians it’s 230pm Friday afternoon in New Jersey.

Governor Phil has just signed Clean Energy Bills live onsite in front of media at the relevant point in the city.

Monmouth Park first race today is at 5pm New Jersey time.

One would think that Governor Phil would like to sign off on the bill live at Monmouth Park , one would also think that he only works Monday to Friday.

So if I was a betting man or gran , I’m thinking governor Phil will sign off today unless he works some overtime and does it racetime Saturday or Sunday.

But it looks like he loves a live onsite signing to maximise exposure with elections not far away.

And this is history in the making.
