The tennessee governor's schedule is published online and evidently updated regularly. rod63 clearly found it through a google search after other posters cited the possibility of a governor's attendance.
If he had the governor of kentucky's schedule and it was in any way pertinent, he would have copied / pasted. Please don't pretend to have any exceptional US political connections.
The big picture for MHM doesn't necessarily require such a prominent political figure, and i think expecting a governor's attendance or a grant of 1m+ is ambitious. New technologies take time to become proven to different markets, and this becomes more difficult in the current economic climate.
ANY press conference and ANY government grant will be beneficial - lets not get ahead of ourselves with overly optimistic speculation.
