Govt. concerns re: EV recharging?, page-2

correct, hey im all for green but we need base load power, batteries wont do it,
also cars/transport account for ~5% of the global CO2 emmissions? seems theres alot of focus just on cars, if we were to remove all cars of the road or convert all cars at once to EV, only 5% of global emmissions will be removed, alow of money being spent on cars for that.
perhaps people should tackle the big emiting areas.

also, do EVs pass the "pub test', lets say the "school run" test.
here's a scenario, your running late from work to pick up the kids, you need some fuel, so you pull into Liberty, gone in 5 minutes with unleaded, with electric, take a seat, relax, kids wil lbe fine.
until this is addressed and fixed, which one will you go with?
