If you have solar or wind, then you need baseload for peaking times - coal-fired cannot be turned on/off as easily as gas. Hence the attraction - to everybody else in the world. The only skeptics appear to be senior folks in Botswana.

People used to claim GG was the man to make things happen there - clearly he wasn't or isn't. TG led for years and he hasn't made it happen. Colm is temporary MD, and has shown nothing to suggest he can influence policy or progress. So someone external is needed - anybody throwing their hat in the ring?
