I think smokers are selfless citizens: They pay for their hospital treatment years before they ever expect to need it and then voluntarily go to the departure lounge before they get to draw much of their age pension and before they need new hips and knees.
People on a nicotine high don't smash their car, killing people.
We need more like that.
