Someone felt sorry that Porter had to fund his own defence case when the evil accuser - ABC Broadcasting - was able to make unsubstantiated accusations, and then have you and me, the taxpaying funding suckers, pay for the inevitable court challenge.
The funding was probably made anonymous to keep the rat bag ABC ignorant.
Didn't work - our ABC are now all over it.
