billy, I agree, it's pretty well thrown about here that I'm a lefty according to those with monochrome world views. I didn't agree with Rudd's helicopter money, I virtually never do regardless why or when or by whom. Money should be held valuable or it loses some of its worth. That's a simple proposition lost on many. It shouldn't be confetti.
It should be used wisely and stimulus planning done assiduously. I know speed is important but imo better to incur the cost of slow diligence than rapid failures. Not with respect to the virus though, that requires very fast decision-making as the virus never takes a day off.
