So now it appears the immigration minister has both conceded the original apprehension was invalid and also today conceded that Djokovic was negligible risk to the health of the community. His action is now based on undermining the federal government message on vaccination and possible civil unrest

Very flimsy case.. And the minister could have just gone section133 or whatever it is.

Would there be civil unrest either way?. By protesting vaxxers or by Serbians that believe he has been badly treated by immigration.

The government must lodge their case with the court by 10pm AEDT tonight but have not as yet done so.

Will they concede tonight?? Or will they partially concede and allow Djokovic to remain under strict quarantine. No practice sessions and escort to and from detention hotel to the centre court. No community appearances.

That would make it very difficult for Djokovic to compete at his fullest. Lose a match and he is eliminated. Win Win and the govt save face.
