So, what we are seeing is a massive stimulus of the stock market and housing market and not much more.... We are also seeing a lack of workers because of the comfortable existence on jobseeker/ jobkeeper.... So in essence, have these payments,( ordered by the Govt, paid for by taxpayers,) done very little except keep people home gambling on the stock market, housing market and online gambling, ...? IMO the last thing we needed was a burgeoning housing market, where ordinary Australians are sacrificed at the expense of the housing investor..... These tax payer stimulus payments have done very little except cause major inflation in the housing and stock market ... Is this a failure of Govt...???
