Future events may prove me wrong but even if new legislation applies to the big end of town, it is highly unlikely that it would apply retrospectively including to cases that are currently before the Courts in which IMF has a stake.
So I would imagine that the worst case scenario is that any new laws will affect the type of cases that IMF takes on once these new laws are passed but these laws will have no impact on IMF's current profitability or capacity to take on new cases at present.
Has anyone got a general idea of how much of IMF's current work involves Sons of Gwalia type litigation?
