1 large driver of the high AUD is namely coking coal/coal which from memory derives 30% of our national income.
If the price of coal were to fall we would feel a drop in the AUD which would be the effect of other importers requiring less dollars (so to speak) to buy our coal.
This would push POG up in aussie terms which is what we're all looking for right?
