Most of my research into the ehealth space has focused on informatics applications, when looking through national and state government agendas there is a high level focus on implementation of electronic pharmacy, informatics and telehealth within the ICT space. With the recent Brian leedman (RAP) appointment to the ALC board it appears that they may be gearing up to ensure they are able to address the entire agendas, the only one currently missing is the e pharmacy? I think over the next few months there is a high possibility that MDR could be targeted for some form of strategic alliance to ensure that these 3 companies can address the full requirements of any national and international health organizations. Surely an alliance that can provide a one stop solution gains competitive advantage.
