    Shortman shows gross shorts not total shorts, meaning someone might not necessarily be shorting it. For example they could short 4m shares and 'dump them' hoping to hit stop losses, then buy them straight back, plus whatever holding they were hoping to get.

    I think this would be more likely than long term shorts for this stock.
