I would welcome Ash to speak because I’m sure she would be calm , concise and respectful. I have listened to the great man Shaun Burgoyne speak of the hurt he felt as a child , because of the racism that he endured. The gracious and inspirational way that he delivered that message made myself and others be drawn in and listen and understand. Any messenger, no matter how painful the subject, will garner more respect and admirers if they conduct themselves in an calm manner. When someone delivers a message full of hate and venom , or shows contempt and/or disrespect the power of their message is diminished. The haters will hate them more and many people with open minds will simply switch off. Holding onto hate does more harm to the person that holds it , than the person it is directed at.
