Well, at least somebody interested in ddRNAi is getting money for research, even if it isn't BLT. I wish Australia would take a leaf out of Texas' book.

The amount of good news for the technology is just staggering really, and the demand for the shares is at an all time low. Go figure!

The news in the last few months:

    - licence with Calimmune
    - licence with Genable
    - UK challenge is gone
    - First gene therapy drug to be approved
    - Tacere's HCV drug looks good in primates
    - BLT has good results for RA and transplants with Medistem
    - Alynlam (with whom we have a cross-licence) has good
    results

None of this news has made any difference to the sp. Years ago, any of these announcements would have doubled the sp. Clearly, nothing but cash in BLT's back pocket is going to make a difference at the moment. Whoever has put that 10 million sell order in at 2cents hasn't got a hope unless we get a very good announcement. I don't understand why people do this and think it will do anything other than turn potential buyers off and send the sp in the opposite direction.

I guess so long as any ddRNAi therapeutic is in commercialisation before BLT's patent estate runs out, we'll do just fine. After all, the CSIRO must be experts at it now, having taken on the big boys for wireless.

Nothing is ever easy is it?
