Plenty of big statements from various posters over the weekend...
There is no doubt HOR will be on the radars of many...and whilst traders will obviously impact the short-term activity to some extent, there will none-the-less be an underlying value model used to set the high and low trading parameters.
It is often a good idea to step back at such times and break down such plays into their simplest form...
In short, recent drilling has opened up a new, previously undiscovered area of high-grade mineralisation, which includes some very significant results by any measure...this, combined with their existing resource at the same location, and obvious association (rightly or wrongly), with the SFR nearology measure, has resulted in the market placing more value on the Company than existed prior to the announcement.
Pretty simple really.
All we can now do is let the market do it things...and maybe, if we feel so inclined, try to determine where the market might finally rest with HOR.
In this regard, I had a bit of a look at this aspect in more detail this morning...instead of sleeping...just to make sure we were not being lead up the garden path.
I think it is fair to say the excitement is for good reason, as they do appear to have hit a new zone of mineralisation...and it does appear to be open to the north and at depth.
More specifically, it appears to me we have a plunging orebody beneath the previously "sterilised" waste dump areas...lol...and it appears to be increasing in grade with depth.
Clearly, previous explorers did not expect this to be here...otherwise the waste dumps would have been placed elsewhere.
Anyway...it is late and I am using up my sleep time now...so there will not be a long winded post from me on this...lol, sighs of relief.
However...I did spent an hour plotting up the results in 3D after I finished work tonight, just to convince myself that what I was seeing in the results stacked up in the 3D model...given the excellent efforts of the likes of Trent26 and a few others on HOR, I thought I might add to the mix and share my personal notes.
As they say, a picture paints aa thousand words...
Image 1...Drill Hole Location Plan (I have highlighted a potential swarm trend worth watching, in blue dashed lines), and the location of the new mineralised zone in red. Also notice the the most northerly hole, RC2015, appears to have drilled over the top of the plunging, high grade zone.
Image 2...Cross Section (looking towards the north end of the pit), clearly showing the westerly dip of the orebody. The higher grade hits are at the back of the section!
Image 3...Long Section, looking side-on to the strike (NW is left), and showing a new, apparently plunging orebody!
Of significance for me is the apparent increasing grade with depth...this is the possible SFR comparison for mine...the next few holes to target this area should tell us what might be going on! Either they have a new high-grade lens to follow of unknown size; or, they the high grade zone will simply end as quickly as it starts.
Meanwhile the Company probably knows little more than the market about what lies beneath, which should make things somewhat interesting.
Good luck all...will be an exciting week for HOR regardless...and no-doubt an entertaining read on the threads.
Cheers!
