The Dioro saga in hindsight was a disaster. For interest's sake, RMS, if $1.25 reflects fair value, then without the Dioro affair, would be worth ~$1.60. If like me you think RMS should be around $2... then without Dioro, RMS would be around $2.70. If RMS ever gets to $10, then without Dioro, RMS would be around $14.70
It turned out to be a dumb move!
We now have a board that think it was a prudent move to withhold a dividend payment this half, because it's unclear as to what the total spend on Magnet will be. But it's okay to spend money on bonuses and spend money on buying shares on a speculative mining company.
