Hi Duncan The 675Tonnes was quoted in the PFS but BB has stated in a few emails that the BFS will be looking at a 3 fold increase in output in Cobalt and Nickel. As I said in my post that you quoted all producers ,whether it be sulphide or laterite, quote cost per lb in nickel terms with cobalt credits, this is only because nickel is the dominant product. They both require the exact same processing method, as a pure cobalt play COB have no other metals to fall back on to supply credits.
To be honest to do a HPAL plant like this as a pure cobalt plant it is no go also as a pure nickel plant it is no go, theOpex and Capex is far to high. But as a combined Ni/Co plant this is what makes it viable.
Cobalt is the "sexy" metal at the moment as Ni has not had its day yet (don't worry it is coming).
