Hi,

I just listened to the webcast for the 2002 GDP AGM and I heard something very interesting from the new chairman and just wondered if anyone else has heard it. He actually stated that early in the new year, being 2003, it was likely that a special general meeting would need to be called to address a proposal. I suspect this was a slip of the toungue because later on he tried to take those words back.

I wonder what he means when he says the word 'proposal'. Someone on hottcopper was talking about a takeover and now is a perfect time for it to happen. The company seems to be making a turnaround and the stock is historically cheap.

I just found th e comment interesting and wondered what others here think he was referring too?
