No clarification, so I'll try to decipher it and give my opinion on the Venus result and what it means for Saturn. Which is my understanding of what the question was:

If Venus is dry but has good reservoir in the Aptian, it proves the Aptian fan systems are making it out into the basin. This is obviously good for Saturn. However, we need to understand the cause for the lack of hcs. Trap/charge/maturity? Maturity is the only one that affects the COS at Saturn as the others are specific to the Venus location. However, given the success at Graff, I don't think this will be an issue. If Venus is a discovery, then the type of hcs is what is important. Thermogenic gas is probably the best result for PCL holders as it means the source rock is more mature than what most companies have modelled it to be. The source kitchen to the east of Saturn would then be larger and more mature and this should be reflected in the SP. The market may not see it that way however, and an oil discovery would likely provide a better SP.

Not certain why 5Lfour thinks I am a fraud. I have never said I am a driller. Only ever been on deepwater rigs and then only for the drilling of reservoir sections. My time is spent finding the targets to drill. BTW, drillers on the rigs I have been on do indeed sit in armchairs. So is it ok if I take that as a compliment?
