it is not possible in a society for everyone to be equal and share equally in the economic pie. Marx had a theory for that but it didn't work. Yes, unfortunately, there will be losers and winners, but it is a government's responsibility to make sure that the weak is not exploited. Pure market forces, viz. demand and supply should not be the sole determinant of who perish and who survive.
