I would argue strongly its better to know you have cancer.....of any type early.
I imagine in the real world people who are being tested for cancer by Dr's have some symptoms.
I believe, just like mammograms, a pan cancer test will tell you if you have a problem, then they can test you with specific cancer diagnostic tests to see what where ect.
This is why BD1 say the SubB2M test goes hand in hand with the Bard peptide test.Finding cancer early, even if you don't immediately know which one, will save lives.

For example Mammograms find lumps not cancer....the lumps are then subjected to other tests/biopsy. Are you suggesting mammograms are a waste of time? The evidence would say exactly the opposite.
