North west NSW is just one more rain event off a massive feed winter crop. I'm up to 80 mills for November already, but my wheat is still green a and filling, but not so to the north. Rainfall figures for the main wheat areas where harvest is underway is,

    Croppa Creek, 55 mls
    Walgett, 50 mls
    Mungindi, 49 mls
    Wee Waa, 56 mls
    Gunnedah, 84 mls
    Breeza, 65 mls
    Blackville, 83 mls.

The harvest is slow due to heavy wet soil and big dews. 24 hour harvesting is just a distant memory. More like 10 am start and 9 pm knock off.

Another big rain change moving in and hiting tomorrow. Should be 25 to 50 mls.
