Could you please expand your comments on grain classification in Vic?
I have heard that Hindmarsh wont't be put up for secondary assesment given it got a green tick on the first-this has never happenened before.
It seems the assesment process or the classification board has been corrupted?
What amazes me in this climate why a marketer and a malster need a classification board, if both are happy with the arrangement and product let the market sort it out.
Hindmarsh is seen as a game changer in the West. I have only had 110mm for the growing season and it has yeilded over 2t/ha-my average rainfall is 375.
Not sure how much to grow next year given the uncertainty of segregation but will ignore the scare campaign, having been sucked into the one on noodle wheat.
