Sorgs sorry to hear ... looks like its going to be a year we all would like to forget. The only positive over our way is the strong noodle price even for off spec ... certainly going to carry my butt over the line but only by a whisker.

Going to have big ramifications for food prices in our (South Asia) region.

Thanks for the info on rosella JC. Wasn't aware of that. Same situation over here with an 'old' free to grow variety called Calingiri. For years we were being told it was not wanted by the market and newer PBR varieties were preferred. Well this year Calingiri is probably going to make up the bulk of what little noodle wheat there is available to Tokyo and South Korea. We've had 200mm for the growing season and it is yielding just under 2t/ha with 80kg HWT and 2% screenings. The smartest finishing wheat in the game.

AMG they were talking about Hindmarsh this morning. It is NOT going to make the malting standard.
