The federal court case does not assess the merit of the decision. Winning on “bias”, “pre determination”, etc, does not mean the reasons for rejection are invalid. So to be very very clear, you are wrong when you say “Scomo’s reasons for declining will have been found to be without merit”, this is not going to happen.
All Labor needs to do is a cabinet reshuffle, get someone who has not already biased themselves to make the decision, for the exact reasons Scott Morrison did, and that’s it, that’s the end of it.
