KurtRichenbacher, I regret to say that I would not be investing in KAL right now.
That's just my personal opinion. Options expire shortly and surely none will be exercised as the option price is about four times the current share price.
They have 1.44 million ounces and 950,000 of this is indicated but the grades are relatively low at 1.7. The Clinker Hill prospect could prove interesting.
They have about two million in cash but this may not last more than a year. How are they going to raise more cash? They may need to take on a partner.
A major acquiring a junior would probably need a couple of million ounces of reserves at a minimum. I think a partner is the answer.
