New explorer SQX Resources has launched an IPO with Brian Granzien as Non-Exec Chairman. I was a bit crestfallen when I saw that on the offer docs and am wary of a repeat of the shenanigans with LDA and Regal appearing elsewhere.
But more to the point, if BG is taking up as Chair elsewhere, how dedicated is he remaining at HIO? Can we expect a transition of leadership to someone else or are we comfortable with him to dividing his time across being MD at HIO and Chair at a startup explorer?
